I think we’ve underestimated Joe’s ability to f*** things up. Like the old apocryphal Obama saying, we thought that Biden was going to be a moderate, a return to normalcy, and a de-escalation from the mean tweeting orange man. Boy we were wrong.
I think that many in the US institutions believed that they would be able to control Biden, that they could operate behind the scenes to nudge the populace into accepting a new way of thinking with Biden as the gentle, elderly, kind-faced leader.
But the one’s trying to be the power behind the throne cannot be the ones wielding the power in the light. They can’t be seen steering the ship. So, in their illusion of control, they are revealed to be neutered and powerless.
We’re on the way to destruction, via hyperinflation, stagflation, and moral decay. Our social fabric has become so brittle that it fractures and breaks at every point. And we’re going to go through much harder times as our civilization crumbles upon the ash heap of history.
