I think that we’re in the middle of a global cultural revolution. We’re seeing the people who sincerely believe that if we’re all one world, one people, then war, conflict, and strife will fall by the wayside. But in order to do this, like the Communist Chinese Party, they believe that they need to get rid of all of the “olds:” Old Ideas (Family Unit, Nations, Individual Rights/Freedoms), Old Culture (Traditions, Two Genders), Old Habits (Self-care, Self-Improvement, Self-control), and Old Customs (Marriage, Monogamy, Letting Children be children).
In order to accomplish their transition to the new world order, we must get rid of all of the links to the past, because they will be what causes resistance. If all we know is the new global governance, then that is what we will cling to. I for one, do not wish to get rid of our past. I would rather learn from it, to see the patterns of human nature, and to work to improve myself and my family. I would rather believe in God and a place beyond this earth because it will keep me accountable and purposeful. I would rather get married and have a family, to keep traditions and make new ones, because I wish to leave a legacy more than just the mindless consumption of materials and stuff.
Never forget who you are and where you come from.
