Are you watching?

Dr. Fauci’s emails have been leaked by Buzzfeed and the Washington Post. The emails highlight the concern and some of the connections that the NIAID (National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases) and the connections that the Institute has with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The government lies to us, regularly and easily. Fauci lied to the American people a lot. He is not interested in protecting the people, he is interested in protecting his job. Funding trickling through the federal bureaucracy has reached the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and instead of owning that, Fauci dismissed the claims that the current SARS-CoV-2 had occurred naturally.

Antifa has attacked Andy Ngo, beating him as he attempted to gather more information for his book and to expose the radical violence of an organization that claims to be fighting against the “government fascists” using totalitarian tactics and following the neo-progressive critical theory in order to tear down all the institutions of the United States.

The problem with this neo-progressive dogma is that Ngo falls in a couple victim categories: He’s Vietnamese (#StopAsianHate Anyone?) and he’s gay (isn’t it pride month?). But you see, to the neo-progressive left, none of that matters. They certainly promise you that it does, but in reality, your membership in any one of the “victim classes” evaporates when you do not comply with the role they give you. Critical Theory doesn’t allow you to get off the ideological plantation.

The price of commodities are rising. Inflation is a thing, it is here, and the risk we run is sacrificing long-term growth for short term gain. Bloomberg reports that the Biden administration is engaging in “trickle-up” economics: taking resources from the rich people who tend to save more and giving it to the poorer people who spend more (read redistribution of wealth) in order to spur consumption and grow the economy. This is spurring on inflation, which can be encapsulated in some fun memes.

So the cost of practically everything is rising. We’ve seen ransomware attacks on critical infrastructure: a gas pipeline, a meat packing facility, and several government agencies. The pipeline and the meat packing facilities are the most worrisome, since it has an impact on the real world and the people of the US. But it’s not just external forces creating this upward pressure. The Biden administration is engaging in reckless spending policy in the hopes that it will kickstart the economy. He has passed executive orders (stopping the Keystone XL Pipeline for one) and has implemented moratoriums on fracking in the US, causing us to import oil and gas from other countries again. While it is a benefit to the environmentalists that helped to get him elected, it leaves the working people even worse off. People are having to pay more for groceries, utilities, and housing. Mobility in the country is slowing, both socially and economically.

The economy struggles along because the government, in all its wisdom, continues to incentivize people to stay home with enhanced unemployment. Jobs wait to be filled, and those working are burning out because people can’t show the grace and patience to them as they struggle to make supply reach demand. US News reported that the jobs numbers were around 100,000 short of expectations, and while that may not seem bad, there are elements within that report that should be troubling. Some of it is fairly plain to see. The pandemic (and related government shutdowns) created a recession that we are still trying to recover from. We have invested more money in this “problem” than we did for the Second World War (adjusted for inflation of course). Courtesy of the AP, “Biden’s $1.9 trillion package follows five others in the past year, altogether worth almost $6 trillion. That’s about $1 trillion more than U.S military expenditures in World War II, all in today’s dollars. It’s more than the government’s entire budget just two years ago, $4.4 trillion.”

Are you watching folks? Are you seeing what’s coming? While we are too busy trying to figure out whether to federalize our elections and to do a full commission on whether January 6th was the worst terror attack since 9/11 or the worst attack on our “democracy” since the Civil War, the cost of life gets higher and higher, adversely affecting the working class who bought into the Biden promises of $2000 checks and free everything. Are you watching as we descend into cold civil war where neither side lives in a common reality, and truth is now more a matter of adherence to tribal dogma more than objective reality? Are you seeing how the rhetoric of Critical Theory is creating more radicalized people, like the Amazon driver who beat a white woman because she wouldn’t “check her white privilege.” The driver, a 21 year old Hispanic (or Latinx for the wokesters out there) claimed self defense after the white woman (a boomer) called her a bitch. Because, remember folks, words are violence now. Them’s the rules, I don’t make ’em up.

We have dark times ahead folks. Be ready.
